Try to get seats on the aisle. It was easier for me to sneak out without interrupting others.
Call the venue ahead of time and see if there is a place to leave your stroller. 4/
Do a couple of dress rehearsals. We saw @nickkroll two days earlier and I used a wrap. It was around 28C/80F and we were just too hot in the theatre. The next night we sat at home with a nursing pillow for her to lay on my lap, cooler for both of us. 5/
Practice using the baby headphones of your choice so you don’t panic when in public. 6/
Have fun and be patient with yourself. I was worried how it would go. June’s words to me during the taping stuck by my side for many months, ‘Mothers are awesome’. 7/
I wish there was a way to listen to the whole unedited taping because I loved when Jason first saw Claire in the audience and the other versions of second opinion songs. 8/
