Tip #1 – Work on your profile.
Identifiable picture
Location accurate
Link to your institutional profile page
Account e-mail matches institutional email




Tip #2 – Work on your content. (I’m pretty sure they scroll through your thread)
Stick with medicine or science
Be professional
Keep the humor coming but related
Work on minimizing typos (I’m still learning)




Tip #3 – Synchronize information on all your professional pages (i.e. - same institutional email). And share these on your form.

Tip #4 – Provide up to date information in the form.
Current organization and title (same as the one on the other pages)
List publications that have your current affiliation


Took me about 2 weeks after my last application to get verified.
