I’ve been having in my heart to share one of my testimonies... I pray that the Lord speaks to someone going through this specific issue...

If you like someone, but this person keeps leading you to compromise your walk with the Lord and sin... SIS, LEAVE THAT PLACE

I’m speaking from experience. I met a couple guys in the past who I thought were the “one” but instead of taking closer to God, I was just led astray and stuck in a loop of sin that seemed never-ending. I knew I was being lukewarm, but I couldn’t leave that place

Many people right now are in that same place I found myself a couple years ago. Believe me, if the person you’re interested in is more interested in you sexually and u have to COMPROMISE your standards to KEEP them, L E A V E. That’s NOT from God and that’s not His plan for you

We‘re NOT called to keep on living in the flesh, BUT to live in the Spirit (Romans 8:12-13) what are WE doing involving ourselves in situations that jeopardize our walk with God??? Jesus came to set us FREE from bondage to sin.

I struggled so much to let this person go. Why? Bc I didn’t know my identity in God. I preferred satisfying my flesh rather than listening to God and LEAVE that place of sin with that person. It was SOOO hard for me. I felt stuck.

That’s what sin does. It keeps you stuck doing things you KNOW are wrong, and it wounds your soul.
Why would you want to keep someone as a partner who leads you to sin and makes you compromise your walk with Jesus??? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: That’s not from God

People then wonder “well, why can’t I leave them?! It’s so hard to leave” sis. That’s a soul tie that NEEDS to be broken. You don’t break that soul tie by going back to the same person that’s causing you to compromise in your walk with Jesus

You get free from that soul tie by LEAVING that person/place and coming to God in prayer REPENTING and crying out to Him to set you free from it by the Blood of Jesus. He’s the chain breaker. He WILL NOT let you stay in that place of repetitive sin

If we keep on going to that same person who’s being a stumbling block in our walk with God, we’re allowing our soul to KEEP getting hurt.

THE MORE WE ENTERTAIN IT, THE MORE IT’LL HURT IN THE LONG RUN, AND THE MORE DIFFICULT IT’LL GET FOR U TO GET OUT OF IT!!!!

It took me like THREE (around FOUR) months to get out of this loop with this person that was causing me to compromise my walk with Jesus. I was wondering why I was so exhausted, MORE insecure than ever, and felt far from God.

I felt all these sort of ways because I kept on sinning with this person. I was like “i’m sorry God please forgive me and help me!!” Then the person would contact me again and I’d fall for it. Friends, we also NEED to be strong. WE CANNOT keep entertaining the things that HURT US

Would you rather continue leaving in “ahh i’m so weak I can’t let thia person go it doesn’t matter if they compromise my walk with God, just ONE more time and that’s it!!” Or would you RATHER stand in FAITH, letting God’s STRENGTH show up in your life???

The 1st option leads to more hurt. The 2nd option leads you to freedom.
Going back to my testimony, the Lord set me free from the bondage to sin & the soul tie I had with this person. When you SURRENDER to God & let Him in, He’ll DELIVER you

He forgives you. He cleanses you.He welcomes you back home with His arms wide open, with so much Love.If you can relate to what I’ve been talking about in my previous tweets, I want to tell u that Jesus is pursuing you. It’s not a coincidence that you’re reading this thread today

Jesus kept pursuing me until I finally gave in. Your walk with Christ isn’t worth compromising for something that leads you astray from Him.

BUT most importantly, come to God. Drop that person that’s causing you to compromise your walk with God. LEAVE that place. Come back to your Heavenly Father and He will help you and satisfy your heart
