I would like to explain what #NotMySindel means to my non MK followers, maybe you would like to join the cause. There is a woman in Mortal Kombat called Sindel. Before MK11 she was a tragic character, a tyrant Shao Kahn conquered her Realm, killed her husband, took her by force.

Being a victim of abuse and probably rape she commints suicide. All of this happens prior to story of very first MK game. In MK3 she is resurrected and brainwashed to aid Shao Kahn in his conquest of Earthrealm. Her daughter Kitana aids Earthrealm warriors, Shao Kahn is defeated.

Sindel is set free out of brainwash, she becomes queen of Edenia once again and rules alongside with her daughter Kitana. Sindel plays one of the major roles in story of MK Deception. From MK4 to MK Armageddon she is herself again, a good person and a caring mother. A hero.

But in MK11 writers decided to retcon her entire lore, making Sindel actually evil from get to go. They "reveal" how she killed her own husband and married Shao Kahn out of her own will, because she is a gold digger and loves privilige by any cost.

@NetherRealm considers 2nd image an improvement over the original timeline and lore. If you are a DC fan, imagine if DC Universe was rebooted and Lois Lane in main canon was written as Superwoman from Crime Syndicate (Earth-3) with explanation being "that way she has more agency"
