Okay but can we talk about how the man Oliver clearly had all the tools to give himself a shave had he wanted to but he WANTED to have the Cast Away look? For fun?

Do we ever get a name for reporter man? I love this dude, he's such a good reporter. He legitimately does his job covering all this shit.

Maybe the reason I don't like OUR media is I'm so used to ACTUALLY GOOD reportes in fictional media.

Clark and Kara are really good examples of this too. I just want to see people acting like the reporters from fiction more often, is that too hard to ask? Anyway back to Arrow.

Clean-shaven Oliver? Oh be still my goddamn heart. Seriously though Stephen Amell was one of the biggest reasons I kept watching Arrow after "it got bad" (Although it never really got bad for me, I just got busy and fell too far behind on it around end of season 4 of Flash)

And yes, it took me over an hour to watch 3 minutes apparently. I pause to tweet and am still at work, lol. Sue me, y'all.

Honestly though one thing I will always love about the first few episodes is how much care they give to PTSD and grief/anger for everyone. We SEE DIRECTLY how Oliver (And Sara's) disappearance affects EVERYONE on the show and I loved that a lot because it makes sense.

I hate how every woman in any situation that acts slightly angry or upset with the main character is automatically labeled a bitch. Laurel's anger at Oliver is justified completely.

Imagine being one of those people in the office just enjoying your lunchbreak watching the news and then the TV just randomly turns off because Laurel doesn't want to watch a news report about her ex-boyfriend and (kinda?) dead sister. Like, total dick move.

Oliver Looks away dramatically + Lightning strikes = Ship flashbacks?!?!

Also I forgot that Sara wasn't Caity Lotz initially because they had no plans to bring her back cos, you know, the whole "they killed her off initially" little roadblock...

"I couldn't be angry because I wanted to grieve, I couldn't grieve because I was so angry" Is honestly one of the most heartbreaking lines. Laurel's clearly gone through hell in the past 5 years.

Poor dude just wanted to take out the garbage but got shot up by some dumb thugs in masks. Also as much as Moira loves her kids, she really was willing to pay some dudes to torture some info out of Olliver...

Also this thread is a testament to just how fucking long it takes me to watch a single episode of any show ever.
