✨Understanding Pisces Venus✨

A thread explaining and analyzing Pisces Venus from start to end.
Pisces is a zodiac sign co-ruled by Jupiter and Neptune, one a planet of expansion, luck, philosophies and belief systems, the other planet of sacrifice, unity, film industry and art (Hollywood), compassion and and dreams; illusion, lack of boundaries; definition, escapism.
Pisces energy is best described by its need to unite, believe, accept and provide emotional support. Pisces energy is docile, flexible, compassionate and understanding: they seek to break boundaries and bond on a spiritual and/or emotional level, they want to empathize.
Venus is said to be exalted in Pisces, which means the planet is able to express itself rather positively and comfortably when placed in this sign. Venus describes our love language, what brings us pleasure, our desires, our relationship with arts, the way we socialize...
• So how does Venus manifest itself in Pisces?

Pisces Venus will have a dreamy, glamorized approach to love which can sometimes mean they fall in love more with an ideal than with reality. Nonetheless, this also means they aim for a ‘fairytale’ kind of relationship.
Pisces Venus bond over feelings, seek both physical and emotional closeness. They have great capacity for compassion, so they can go for those who seem to be victims of some sort and need help. They’re accepting and flexible.
Ruled by the limitless Neptune, Pisces Venus’ affection knows no boundaries, so much so that they can sometimes lose themselves to the relationship. If they’re not careful, they can feel drained of their energy being around people who influence them negatively.
• How can you tell if Pisces Venus is interested in you?

They’re sensual, compassionate and sensitive. Pisces Venus is likely show attraction through being very attentive to your needs and trying to bond with you on a deeper level; emotional or/and spiritual.
They almost have a dreamy, very soothing aura and seek to make people feel accepted and loved. The universality of their love can be misleading to others but even to them, as they might be confused on what exactly they want.
Nonetheless, Pisces Venus energy is quite docile and altruistic, they will either take on the role of ‘damsel in distress’ or ‘knight in shinning armor’, depending on the rest of the chart and the relationship dynamics. Either way, they believe in needing one another in love.
• How do you satisfy a Pisces Venus’ needs?

Be understanding, sensual and emotionally involved like them. They dislike judgmental and insensitive people, what they seek is to be involved with someone who has a good heart (according to them).
Pisces can have desires to escape, to disconnect from the world and when Venus is placed in this sign, it could mean love is the portal for that; they want their partner to (metaphorically, or on a spiritual/mental level) take them to a different world.
This can sometimes cause unrealistic expectations as they can be too much in their fantasy world, but nonetheless they’re likely to settle only once they’ve met their ‘soul mate’ or perfect match; whoever fits their ideal partner most and nothing less.
Their ideal partner isn’t necessarily the one who has it all in terms of money, success and beauty; they seek someone who can match them on a spiritual level. Pisces Venus falls in love with inner beauty, the soul.
They can still struggle with boundaries, protecting their energy and losing themselves to a relationship so that’s something to beware of.
Also, they can decide to pursue a platonic love style for a while if they haven’t found anyone who matches their fantasy, the image of their ideal partner.
One important thing regarding this placement: the way this placement will manifest itself highly depends on the rest of the natal chart as the energy is quite passive, flexible and adaptable.
For example, for an Aquarius Sun (Saturn ruled) this placement can be hard to handle because they want to have boundaries whereas Pisces Venus wants to erase them.
For Aries Sun, they can feel as if they’re often compromising their needs, as if they’re being held back...
For Taurus and Capricorn Suns, this placement will work better, as earth-water is compatible. The only issue might be on the need for material security of Earth signs and Pisces Venus not caring for that which can mean ending up with a partner unable to provide that.
In conclusion, Pisces Venus want their happily ever after and believe that they will meet that person, their Prince/Princess Charming. They need someone who won’t limit their beliefs, who won’t rationalize their wishes or invalidate their feelings.
