there's a difference between making mistakes, being uninformed, or learning from past experiences
and PURPOSEFULLY hurting other people, causing drama and pain to others, and choosing not to learn while saying "I MADE A MISTAKE U CAN'T BLAME ME I'M A MINOR" and not changing

there are situations where being a minor is an important part of discussion and also no group of adults should be harassing children... but being a minor doesn't excuse you from being an awful human being, it means there are times you may not know stuff and have more leniency

if you genuinely did not know something or were just inexperienced with the problem, then yeah, there's forgiveness to be had. if you PURPOSEFULLY keep causing the same problems and pull the minor card to absolve yourself from consequences that's no longer an excuse.

be nice to people and treat people with respect, remember there is a person behind each account you're talking to/about on twitter. have some basic human compassion

yes this thread is inspired by smth i've seen going on recently but i would rather not end up in the search for it
