Tammy Abraham goals 2018-2020 a short thread. RT's appreciated!

1. Where does it go in?
2. One touch
3. Two touches
4. Three touches
Tammy has scored 32 league goals in the last two seasons. Overall 31 (97% inside box)

1 touch - 26 (81%) - 1 outside box
2 touch - 2 - (6%) - 0 outside box
3+ touch - 4 (13%) - 0 outside box

Cool. Why is this important?
Well, it's basically the same pattern for Aguero, Lukaku, Vardy, Aubameyang etc.

So if you're designing drills where you're doing anything BUT one touch finishing among chaos in the box, you're probably not training your forwards to score 'real-life' goals.
Combo on the edge of the box and a bent shot from 22 yards? Who actually scores this? Show me that player!
You'd imagine the military design practice operations based around what they plan to do in combat.

If coaches are making it up from memory or feeling or what's always been done, then they are doing this wrong.
What are you telling your players? What messages are you giving them? Are you looking at video of their movement around the box in games? Are you doing what you can?
On the subject of 'finishing'.... there aren't many going in top corners and in off the post. Because that's how you score from 25 yards, which rarely happens. Shots from 8 yards beat the keeper mostly with pace. Are you training that?
