Those assisting you are going to go out of their way when you're being nice.
If you come in screaming, demanding, and acting like a certain three-letter word, you've immediately been written off as a jerk, and anyone working with you is not going to have a lot of motivation to help in the best way possible.
Most of the time those helping you get why you're frustrated and want to help, but a bad attitude is rarely rewarded.
I've gone out of my way and practically moved mountains for nice, understanding people that I've assisted in various jobs over the years.

If you're a turd, people are going to want to deal with you as little as possible and you'll become a breakroom joke. The choice is yours
