firstly, bamford and firmino arenât strikers known for scoring, rather putting in the hard yards and creating chances for teammates. in that type of role, several abilities are key and for me bamford excels in nearly all of them. stronger, better in the air, more hard working etc
and letâs be honest now, our fans have slated bamford. so much pressure on his shoulders being the 9 at leeds. most players wouldâve instantly cracked. firmino in comparison, is basically a god to liverpool fans, forgetting the fact heâs yet to score a goal at anfield this season
itâs evident that bamford is much superior in every sense as a forward, youâd think aside from scoring. well not quite, 36 games 13 goals for bamford whereas firmino has 8 in 29. 8 goals playing alongside two of the best forwards in the world is absolutely woeful
not only is bamford the better goalscorer, but heâs the better forward, in almost every sense. maybe creativity and ball skill i can concede firmino is superior, but youâll do well to name me one more ability where firmino>bamford.
end of thread.
