This is an honest question. Is this work site using best management practices? I really don’t know.

For the past several months, I've been amazed at how at night pipes are just left outside unguarded. As @RoryStolzenberg notes, there is sediment coming out of this site. The traffic patterns aren't also clearly marked.

Before the pandemic, I walked through this site much more often when I walked to work. I photographed intersection with West Main Street in in a terrible state. Its our busiest road, but there were no extra precautions taken to protect cyclists. And also run-off.

This project is a water line replacement that was originally supposed to have been done in conjunction with the West Main Streetscape. I won't go there now.

But to end this thread, I ask you to please describe this photo from earlier this spring. I want your replies!
