This bank holiday weekend, we're turning to the Spice Girls for advice (seriously!).

You'll (Mel) C what we mean in a sec... ⬇️
We know that Government guidance has started easing lockdown - and Wirral has some amazing beauty spots you might want to visit.

But before you head to us, we’d like you to ‘Stop Right Now’ and have another think, thank you very much.
Just like the iconic Spice Girls songs, Coronavirus is still around. Doesn’t matter if you’re sporty, posh or scary, the virus hasn't gone away.
On a normal bank holiday we know you’d ‘Wannabe’ visiting our parks and beaches but these aren’t (quite) normal times.
There pubs are closed, and cafes and restaurants are only open for takeaways. There will be no toilets either, which could all be ‘Too much’.
Just like the Spice Girls, we’d usually say ‘Never give up on the good times’ …but maybe wait a bit longer before you come to visit?
The reality is that social distancing will be harder if its busy. When ‘2 (metres) becomes 1’ everyone could be putting themselves at risk.
So for now, have another think. Do you really need to come to Wirral this weekend?

For now, let’s say ‘Goodbye my friend’. 👋
We’ll welcome you back with open arms when it’s safe to do so. ‘Say you’ll be there’?
