There& #39;s an appalling lack of Air Force Football GIFs on Twitter, so HERE& #39;S A GIF FROM AIR FORCE ONE INSTEAD.
IT& #39;S AIR FORCE DAY.
IT& #39;S AIR FORCE DAY.
Surge and rebuild, surge and rebuild. Troy Calhoun& #39;s had a very *cyclical* tenure at Air Force. But last year& #39;s surge was the best yet. This team was REALLY good the second half of last year.
(The Air Force offense was awesome last year, btw, and returns 3 of the main reasons why: QB Donald Hammond III, RB Kadin Remsberg and LG Nolan Laufenberg.)
Per SP+, Air Force had its best offense since 1998 AND its best defense since 2010. With no lineman >275 pounds, they were excellent against the run. Swarmed and swarmed.
This teams has lots of continuity, except in one spot: the secondary. And with 7 relative tossups on the schedule, how well the DBs fare could be the difference between 5-7 and 10-2.
