I& #39;ve finished vol 1 of Pandora Hearts and so far the anime has followed the story as it is. Also now I noticed a detail I overlooked when watching the anime, so it should be easier to understand everything now that I am reading it from the beginning.

So... I& #39;ve noticed 2 main differences between this manga volume and the anime. That Alice scene in which she was chained finished much faster. I prefer this one better because Oz& #39;s additional lines in the anime were... idk, cringey to me.

It& #39;s not just because they& #39;re cringey, to me those lines weren& #39;t necessary. It felt romantic even tho nothing like that was hinted before..

The other thing was the flower girl scenes. Additional lines and scenes were added in the anime, so prefer the anime version on this one.

Also Oz& #39;s reality acceptance feels exactly the opposite to me. He& #39;s always saying he& #39;s accepting the truth as it is, but to me it feels like he& #39;s not facing it instead. He doesn& #39;t really want to think about it. He can& #39;t handle the truth.

Finished vol 4. Tbh the funny moments in this series feel weird to me because vol 1 barely had any humor. So, I thought it& #39;s going to be more of a serious series. Either way, I do dig the humor.
