GP Please consider that if Democrats sweep the House, Senate, and presidency in November that American business will never recover.

And I mean never.

GP From the inevitable giveaways to trial lawyers, permitting them to sue the crap out of companies and employers for COVID issues to the inevitable mandated forgiveness of loans and rents, Democrats will upend property rights and unsettle expectations.

GP If businesses don't know what's going to happen, they either retrench or close up shop.

This will mean no jobs recovery, limited or no economic recovery, and potential deflation.

It will also mean a large percentage of Americans will become functional dependents of the state

GP But please, do go on about the evils of business and how not paying your rents or mortgage while knowing you can't be evicted until August at the earliest is just.

You're stealing. That house/apartment isn't yours. Pay for it. You're ruining landlords. You'll collapse banks.

GP If you think I'm kidding, consider that banks hold massive books of loans. If government dictates banks wipe clean, say, 10% of every loan held, they're screwed. The value of their book just collapsed. They won't have capital to lend, they'll seize up.

GP Without bank loans, only the rich will be able to afford houses, cars, personal goods and items (banks issue and backstop credit cards, people).

In the name of helping the poor, Democrats will make their lives far worse.

GP As tax revenues fall from businesses failing (corporate income tax), people not buying items (sales tax) or houses (mortgage/transfer tax), and permanently lost jobs (FICA, Medicare, personal income tax) governments will be forced to raise taxes which will worsen the spiral.

GP The rich will depart for less onerous states or countries, leaving the jobless poor and middle class holding the bag.

When the promised revenues from high taxes don't materialize, government will be forced to cut services, even the Democrats "free stuff for all" programs.

GP And when "capitalism" fails, people who have never seen socialism/communism in person will think it's a great idea, vote in avowed socialists who will turn our country into North Venezuela.

GP So, I guess, don't vote Democrat in November not only because Biden's demented and likely racist but because even if you really like what Democrats are saying (free stuff for all), in the end it will ruin the country and your life.
