I studied youth ministry/biblical studies in college. In one of my final classes, the topic of homosexuality came up. I hate the toxicity that people have cultivated in the name of religious righteousness, but what my professor said replays in my mind consistently —
“The moment you are greeted by the Creator of the universe, I hope you hear Him say you gave ‘too much grace’ rather than you were too judgemental.”
that being said — no matter your stance, your beliefs are NOT worth a life. I don’t care how right you think you are. God didn’t say to tell people how broken you think they are. He said to love. Just do it.

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
last thought — love isn’t exclusive to heterosexuality. I won’t argue over this. have a great Friday!
