Never forget that Matt Lauer was replaced by an armadillo on the Texas Roadhouse mural in Athens, Ohio

Don't do anything stupid, @PiperPerabo @ArsenioHall & Ed O'Neill. The steak muralists are watching.

Others are pointing out that Paul Newman (second from left) and Richard Dean Anderson (blue middle, who played MacGyver), both of whom have OU connections, were armadillo'd as well. I do not know why.

Theory: They had to armadillo Lauer and decided to add in some others.

There's confusion of whether the mural depicts Sarah Jessica Parker (born in nearby Nelsonville) or Piper Perabo (OU grad, 1998). This has been debated, apparently, since at least 2016.

I've reached out to the @texasroadhouse muralist to help clarify. Will update if I hear back!
