Thread | Going through all the positions in the Spurs team and who we could sign in the summer (in positions we need)

GK -

•Lloris - Starter
•Gazzaniga - Back-up
•Youth GK - 3rd Choice

We don’t really need to improve here, Hugo still a good GK and Gazzaniga is a solid back-up.
I would give the 3rd choice spot to either Whiteman or Austin depending who the club deem better.

CB -

•Sanchez - Starter
•Alderweireld - Back-up
•Tanganga - Back-up
•Dier - Sell
•Foyth - Sell
•CCV - Sell

In my eyes Davinson, Toby and Japhet are the only CBs we should be carrying over into next season. Diers just lost it, CCV isn’t it and Foyth is in the wrong league

RB -

•Aurier - Back-up
•KWP - Sell

A position we’ve needed to properly fill for a while. Serge has his moments of brilliance but is also a walking disaster. KWP could be a decent RB for a bottom half team but just isn’t near good enough for our squad

LB -

•Sessegnon - Starter
•Davies - Back-up
•Rose - Sell

I want to trust Sess with this spot,
he seems to favour himself in this position so I’d give him a chance. Davies is a forever reliable back-up.
Rose used to be unreal opposite Walker but has sadly lost it

DM -

•Winks - Back-up
•Skipp - Loan
•Amos - Sell

A real key position that we need to help our other midfielders flourish.
Winks can do the job but a proper Defensive Mid is what we’re needing.
Skipp would do well with a loan and Amos could work in a player exchange (Eze)

CM -

•Ndombele - Starter
•Gedson - Back-up
•Sissoko - Back-up or Sell

Tanguy is one of our best players and gets into pretty much any other midfield. Gedson has shown glimpse in his limited time and looks promising. Moussa could stay but if there’s a deal then I’d sell

AM -

•Dele - Starter (4-2-3-1)
•Lo Celso - Starter (4-3-3)

If Dele can find his form of 2/3 seasons ago then we’re eating good but the No.10 is kinda going out of style so he might have to be an attacking CM like Gio. Speaking of GLC is can’t to see him Ndombele and a DM

RW -

•Bergwijn - Starter
•Lucas - Back-up
•Lamela - Sell

Was so happy in January when we signed Steven because we are now freed up to sell one of our other RWs. Lucas stays IMO since he can play across the front 3 and isn’t injury prone. I love Erik but we need funds

LW -

•Son - Starter
•Clarke - Loan

Kind of easy this one. The thought of Sonny - Kane - Bergwijn as a front 3 is just something else. With Jack however he hasn’t exactly had a proper chance, so maybe another year loan back in the Championship and we’ll see in 2021.

ST -

•Kane - Starter
•Parrott - Loan

A lot of pressure on us to win something next year or Harry might think about moving abroad. But I think we’ll bring in a decent back-up that will help secure a trophy. Troy is still young and it would help gaining experience out on loan
