Yes - the massive, invisible cultural divide that separates white people and black people in this country.

Let me explain. https://twitter.com/TheAnonymous_ZA/status/1263576942529429505
Sizwe is a member of a group culture. In group cultures, your identity is primarily as a member of the group. In exchange for loyalty to the group, you are protected. Group cultures value loyalty to their tribes and leaders and have strong ideas of things like nation building.
You and I as white Westerners are individual culture-oriented. We value personal achievement, independence, personal responsibility and traits such as self-reliance.

No human is 100% one or the other of course but the primary orientation is either group or individual.
@SizweLo looks at apartheid through a group culture lens and thinks he sees a group of white tribal leaders dispensing favours to a group of whites. Therefore, when his group is in charge it's entirely fair that his leaders should now dispense favours to his tribe and race.
This cultural orientation works perfectly on a lush but dangerous continent where your very survival depends on being part of a group that protects you and dispenses the available resources in exchange for loyalty.

But when there are limited resources, it's vulnerable.
Exhibit A right now: the different responses of white people and black people to martial law in South Africa. The majority of the population are helpless, depending on food handouts to stop starving. Whites are growing their own food and tobacco and preparing to be roof Koreans.
What group culture people don't understand about individual cultures is that we have a deep distrust of ALL forms of government. Members of individual cultures do not like being told what to do by anyone. We work on our own or in small teams to create value.
Another thing they don't understand, especially here, is that there's no such thing as 'whiteness'. I've watched quite a few videos on social media by intelligent black people who think there is this concept of whiteness. Nope. We're individuals with some group affiliations.
There's often very little concept of value creation in a group culture. China is a group culture and what does it do? Constantly steals the West's IP.

Same with Africa. Long term value creation is foreign to this continent.
The cynical view of what we've had in South Africa since 1994 is white people being taxed while being discriminated against so that black people can have free stuff.

The dispassionate view is simply that group cultures and individual cultures can never get on side-by-side.
Here's another example of what I mean: whites develop citrus farm from scratch, creating wealth and jobs from the land. It's handed over to group culture peasants and two rival tribes of them immediately slaughter each other to try and gain control:
Result: 40 people dead, including women and children, investors abandon the project and the farm is destroyed. Genius move guys. Now you have nothing.

Welcome to Africa. Utterly incapable of looking after itself.
