Just look at her privileged fucking life. Her father is a diamond merchant. Her husband is a diamond merchant. She studied in a top school in Mumbai. She even went to London to study further. And then she has the guts to say "YOU& #39;RE POOR BECAUSE YOU DON& #39;T WORK HARD ENOUGH."
That takes another kind of blind privilege to just assume that if people aren& #39;t as rich as you it& #39;s probably because they don& #39;t work hard enough. Oh fucking hell don& #39;t give me that fucking crap you piece of shit worthless fashion influencer.
THIS POST is the reason why I don& #39;t like influencers. Call it whatever the fuck you want. I may be wrong or prejudiced. But just because you have the money, access, privilege and you have the means to show it off is because you& #39;re an influencer. Nothing fucking else.
You& #39;re not a pro in your industry or have years of experience or are a game changer or carry a lot of knowledge. If that were the case, then you& #39;d be a fucking real influencer. Then your opinion matters. You& #39;re just a pretty face with daddy& #39;s money and high speed internet.
So shut the fuck up about asking others to work harder. You know what, I& #39;m not even saying that she hasn& #39;t worked hard. I& #39;m sure she puts in a lot of effort and has probably struggled (whatever that means in her context) and deserves all that she has in life.
But shitting on other people& #39;s existence and hard work is annoying when you& #39;re a part of an industry that is problematic at so many levels (fashion industry - so much about looks, expensive brands - capitalism, pressure on women, etc etc) makes you a totally pathetic person.
Fuck influencers man. If that& #39;s the only thing you do, I& #39;m sorry that doesn& #39;t get too much respect from me. I may be poor & in a routine job but I don& #39;t go out and tell the world that they& #39;re doing it wrong. I try & create value with what I do. I try & help make the world better.
What the hell are you doing? Buying expensive clothes from top brands and telling the world that they should buy it too? Oh wait, you& #39;re not even buying it, you& #39;re getting it for free and you& #39;re getting other hard working people to buy that stuff. Stay the fuck away.
Your role in this world is worthless. It& #39;s making people feel worse about themselves. Just because you have the oh-so-perfect-life doesn& #39;t mean everyone has it too. You& #39;re a fucking adult. And a professional. Act like one ffs. Arghhh. Can& #39;t believe there& #39;s such trash around us.
