6 states in the US adopted this policy of forcing nursing homes to take COV patients to "protect hospitals".

these homes were NOT equipped to deal with this.

the results have been tragic.

these states have 19% of US population and 62% of covid deaths.

and this was avoidable.

had their death rates been the same as the rest of the US, overall american deaths would be 50,000 lower.

let that sink it. ~half the deaths in the US could probably have been avoided by simply avoiding this one reckless policy

everyplace that adopted this policy seems to have turned into a massive COV hotspot for deaths.

it was not based in science. it was not even based in reason.

it was just politics.
