Congrats @AnishJayJain on graduating & starting your surgical career!

I& #39;m not the expert on @NationalCSP admissions, but will share my guesses on what they look for...

I think peer-reviewed pubs are 1 metric of this, but not the only one, and I feel @NationalCSP recognizes those who have tried to make an impact in other ways

LORs may help if impact not so quantifiable

This is obviously subject to change, and 1 benefit of @NationalCSP is the many opportunities to rethink your goals and aspirations... but hard for them to take you anywhere w/o some sort of goal in mind

How will the program help you achieve #2?
Each site has its own flavor & strengths, & I think it& #39;s worth thinking about what each can uniquely offer
This is by no means exhaustive or definitive, just my own thoughts & how I& #39;ve advised other people who& #39;ve asked me similar questions.

Others please share your thoughts!
Already realized I forgot something:

You should also describe what you hope to do while you& #39;re at @NationalCSP: what topics do you want to look at? What datasets and methods? which mentors?

Again, OK for this to change, but the clearer your vision the better.
