lrt is such an interesting perspective on the whole thing about fiction versus reality
acknowledging and obeying the existence of the line is a very important distinction a lot of people on this site refuse to make

you create “problematic” content in a fictional space and next thing you know a bajillion people are on your ass because they think what you create (for free) is equal to what you fully condone and act upon irl
but nothing is ever so simple
but nothing is ever so simple
and once you get dogpiled by the morality police there’s no situation where you come out on top; ive seen dox after dox of fictional creators who get so much flack for their work and then the internet becomes a very very different experience
and amongst these people who harass and expose and dox are those who think it a personality trait and/or easy way to farm clout and feel good about themselves
so I find myself asking who the real villain is

so yeah, learn the line between fiction and reality; it’s a lot more durable than you think
and situations are never so binary; keep an open mind and be kind, it’s really that easy

returning to this thread tonight to make it very clear that just as there are people who create “problematic” content in a fictional, safe space where no one really gets hurt, there are also those who do it with every intent to replicate it irl
case by case basis is the best approach
