Ever since Harry Maguire's 80M£ move to #mufc, many questions have been arised. Is he good enough for the price?
Let's see why Maguire is worth it.

Maguire usually plays as a LCB in a back 2 in 4-2-3-1 or a middle CB in a back 3 in a 3-5-2 formation. Whichever the formation he plays in his performances doesn't change.

Maguire's main attributes are his physique and technical ability. He is a very good tackler and a beast in the air. He averages 1.1 tackles, 1.8 interceptions, 4.6 clearances and 4.7 Ariel wins per game which in total are higher in comparison to VanDjik who is highly rated.

He is not a fastest of players but it is covered by his strength, perfect positioning and timed tackling. He has been able to nullify pacey players like Traore, Sterling and Aubameyang this season.

Maguire's style of play is similar to Ferdinand. A ball playing CB who likes to play long passes to the flanks and carrys the ball beating his man and then plays a calm pass. He is cool calm and composed when opponents apply pressure. He completes 4.2accurate long balls per game.

More over he is a set piece threat. Both attacking & defensive wise. He was not able to score a header because of inaccurate crosses. Now with the acquisition of Bruno he has started to show this trait.

#mufc have conced goals from corners beacuse of zonal marking. Now after the winter break it seems #mufc are using player to player marking which has enhanced Maguires performance from corners. He made 9 headed clearances just from corners against Everton away.
