Back in 2017, China's Renewable Energy Outlook was launched in Beijing by the Energy Research Institute of the NDRC (ie official governmental institutions). This was the 2nd slide shown in the presentation.

The text is a quote from President Xi and it's a well-known one: "Man must learn to live in harmony with man and in harmony with nature". (Mandarin speakers please correct me!)

Nations are complex and multi-faceted and change happens in tempestuous fits and starts - but I see these as unmistakable signs of the possibility of paradigm shift. What do others think?
