... very important, even to the detriment of his own research time. I believe the response was written more to enable ecr continued work on this and defend it from these claims, rather than to exonerate his own.

I will continue to use ST because of its analytical value, while remaining reflexive about positionality, but now it carries a concern about being read as racist because of a less- than rigorous article publication. That is also a form of silencing.
