the fact that joon is on here is making me obviously extremely emotional. listen, i know i'm dramatic all the time about namgi but the fact IS their bond is so special and it's incredibly rare, especially in the music industry to have that level of love between musical partners

like not only are they best friends who have been best friends for ten years but they've maintained that through some really up and down periods, fought to understand each other and respect each other. and they keep inspiring and pushing each other to great things

and yes the fact that joon is on here but also the fact that yoongi gave him so much space in the song to just go on a run, to really get into his thoughts and write and that joon wrote all of that for yoongi.

that sht is rare. looking back onto musical partnerships over the years there's so many classic pairings and partners and to me, namgi will be one for the history books because of the way they work together, respect each other, share the same worldviews, and inspire each other
