Unless you blatantly gush, grovel and kiss their collective arse, Icelanders apparently think all objective comment about their country is an insult.

“OMG there’s like this volcanic island way up north settled by a bunch of honest to god Vikings back in the day! Same families still going! And the US Navy hunted SOVIET NUKE SUBS from there during the whole Cold War! And they’ve kept their ancient traditional spirit beliefs!!”
