The law as it stands today, the one that had been working fine your entire life, and what trans people want to keep, is that people use the facilities that they know fit for them. That almost always means trans men in the men's and trans women in the women's

Any attempt to change this means policing who "looks right" before they can go to the toilet. There are hardly any trans people. All this would mean in practice is harassing cis women for "not looking feminine enough". That's what happened in North Carolina when they tried it

Also worth noting how they're trying to justify banning all trans women from the women's by using this one picture of a "scary trans woman" that they always use. Not even arguably representative of the tens of thousands of trans women across the country. It's scaremongering

They use "scary pictures" because they don't have any statistics that back up their position. They are trying to justify a dangerous solution to a problem that doesn't exist on fear alone

In this case it isn't ignorance, it's a grift
