The tryst with @Flipkart bad service begins on April 21st. Yes, during lockdown 2.0 I think. Had ordered essentials from them including Aashirvaad wheat powder. I got a carton packed neatly. 1/n
The tryst with @Flipkart bad service begins on April 21st. Yes, during lockdown 2.0 I think. Had ordered essentials from them including Aashirvaad wheat powder. I got a carton packed neatly. 1/n
I opened the box and to my dismay found that the packet was damaged and the carton inside was full of wheat flour. It is just amazing that I had another packet of same product that came without carton. 2/n
So logically, this item was packed in a carton because it was damaged even at Flipkart’s premises. Hmmm, Unicorn strategies I presume. I put it back, put a cello-tape across and contacted Flipkart service. They said it will be picked up by April 28th or so. 3/n
However, later on got a message stating that it can’t be done since the government rules didn’t allow them to (deliveries were happening but pickups can’t). Then the dates kept on shifting by a week. 4/n
Duly I was getting SMS messages every week that it will be picked up next week. Finally yesterday, someone called and said they will pick it up. When I got down with the box, the guy said that he was on a two wheeler and can’t pick it up. 5/n
He said he will send someone tomorrow with the minivan to pick it up. Today, someone from Flipkart called and told me to come down with the box. I went down, put it down. The guy spoke to his senior, sent pictures of the box and as I assume, even today, they were on a bike. 6/n
Later on this guy’s senior on a call told him to reject the pickup. And this guy, without a word, just walks off – leaving me and the box behind. I come back duly and write this post. 7/n
Which I am sure, will have no use whatsoever, considering that ‘social listening’ and ‘exemplary customer service’ are part of only advertising campaigns and power point presentations. 8/n
End of relationship with Flipkart. Start another one, so that in due course, one can get disillusioned more.
PS: I know you never had any problems with Flipkart :/

Update: Got a message from Flipkart that refund has been processed. Will delete this thread once the amount geta credited.
