Dreams really do manifestđŸ„ș

I finally completed my hifdh đŸ„șafter 7 years of struggle.7 FREAKING YEARS!! Wallahi, the right niyyah really goes a long way. After all the hurdles, here I am today. I still vividly remember how I gave up but 17 months later, I picked myself..

THREAD
I picked myself up and start again anew. A whole new journey. It wasn’t the easiest journey, and the mountain seemed too steep to climb. There were so many ups and downs. Some days I had too much work, other days I was too tired and I lacked the zeal to memorise anything.
It really took a lot of self discipline. But AlhamduliLlah for every struggle I came across. I remember my uncle used to tell me, “if you push yourself to achieve your goals on the rainy days, you get incredible days bathed in sunshine.” I made sure I engraved that upon my heart.
And there were the amazing days, the days when everything would flow so smoothly. The days the Quran would speak to my heart and I wouldn’t even want to stop reading. Those kind of days I felt like I could trade anything in this world just to be a hafidha.
And Wallahi today I CANNOT explain my joy đŸ„ș the happiness. The wave of emotions flowing through me right nowđŸ„ș😭 SubhanAllah.
So here’s to everyone on the Hifdh Journey; do not relent✹ No matter how hard the going gets. Keep the end in mind, always. The end in this world and in the Akhirah too. The Quran never comes easy and it’s a long and arduous journey to embark on, yet it is the most beautiful
The most beautiful journey you’d ever embark upon. It never comes easy. You must strive and push hard, no matter how hard the going gets. And when you fall, pick yourself up and keep going. You’ll only be thankful for your hard work when you see the results.
Give the Quran your best time of the day. Let your life revolve around the Quran, humble yourself before the Quran and watch how your life will change. And when you finally reach the goal, know O brother/sister, that the actual time you are beginning your hifdh journey.
For memorizing the Quran is one thing, but sticking to it, revising it, and keeping it intact is the most important thing of all. My Ustadh used to tell us that the journey of a hafidh actually begins when they complete their first memorization. And I haven’t
...heard anything truer honestly. Endlessly going over the Quran again after memorisation is for the strong hearted. It’s not easy certainly, but it’s beautiful.

I hope you find it in you to complete your hifdh & make the Quran your best companion. Aameen.
