My standard for critiquing Dem policy will be:

1) Is it illegal and/or the result of undue foreign influence?

2)Will it kill 100k people?

If no then
(I'm sure I'll quibble with some things over the next 16 years but I'll take integrity over this rubbish.)
But I plan to vote Democrat for the rest of my life as a memorial to this era of shit that nearly took us down. If the Dem is a pedophile or literally Hitler, I won't vote.
Conservative Republican for 25+ years. I do thank Trump for breaking me of my tribal affiliation and making me realize how much of the Right is garbage. It's about the only thing he was good for.
No I'm not a liberal or a democrat or a conservative or Republicans. Such affiliations are useful as sorting mechanisms....but people rarely srop there. It clouds my judgment to be affiliated politically. Because then your first filtered thought is "Does this comport with that?"
Turning politics into a media infotainment Lifestyle has been the biggest mistake.
I'm really embarrassed by some of the political books I purchased over the years. But they were kind of like tribal gear. It was weird. You didn't really care if the books were good or not.

But I did put down a Mark Levin book once because it was just awful.
2004-2012 I read a lot of blogs. A lot. Lol what a waste of time. *Writes a thread of navelgazing tweets*
