I’m a married female in AA. I have 12 years. A guy in AA with 10 years keeps texting me that he’s physically attracted to me. He wants to meet up. I told him I’m not attracted to him to no avail. Should I tell his sponsor about what he’s doing?
Telling his sponsor about it seems immature of me to do. I want to block this guy but I really want his sponsor to know why I blocked him.
Yes I’ll go to my sponsor with it. She’s in bed by now bc she has to wake up early and works all day. I just wanted to reach out and talk about it right now.
One AA friend told me to ignore him. This isn’t easy bc we have a ton of mutual friends. His jealous girlfriend lives near me too so I have to handle this carefully.
I texted him that I want no more contact from him & his sexual comments are not wanted by me. That I am not attracted to him at all. He’s blocked from email, LinkedIn, and Facebook. I kept him unblocked on the phone bc I want to keep an eye on him for a bit.
Do men go through this too? I’d imagine so.
I’m not reaching out to his sponsor. I’m going to talk to my sponsor though. She just had out patient surgery and I dunno if she’s up for this. But I will talk to her about it very soon.
