Tonight...
My daughter's favorite shot of the movie.
Her second favorite shot of the movie. (It's one of mine, too.)
For my money, the last shot in this GIF is the single most terrifying shot of "The Terminator". In contrast to the amazing, nightmarish slow-motion sequence that precedes this, it's a real-time nightmare of being immobile while pursued by a monster.
Tonight...
Before having kids, I promised myself I would do all I could as a movie fan and as a father to successfully preserve and protect the twists of “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Terminator 2” for my kids until their first viewing of the films.

Mission... accomplished. 🎥
Pulled this out of the library to show my daughter. Now it’s hers.

There are dozens upon dozens of jaw-dropping, amazing shots in "Terminator 2".

This quiet, clever, in-camera moment was one of my daughter's favorite shots of the movie. She particularly loved the subtly changing sounds of the footsteps.
I’d give anything to have been on set to watch Robert Patrick and Dan Stanton and the camera operator rehearsing this shot.
