A lot of chatter on social about remote work today.

I know after I posted about the @shopify announcement I got my fair share of DMs that jolted some conversation and debate.
After years of working in a social office. The iconic tech office with beer on tap and ping pong, I went full remote.

At first, I loved it. Then I didn’t. There are definitely pros and cons.
It was challenging. Socially isolating. If you know me, you know I am a total people person.

But I also had SO much freedom and flexibility.

I went to live in Whistler for a few months and skied at lunch break. Sometimes even taking my laptop to the mountain.
I get that it’s polarizing. I have a love-hate relationship with it myself.

But I love what @AveryFrancis said:

"Remote work isn’t for everyone — but — having the option to *choose* what works best for you is"
