The Honor of flying an American Flag is for: The Mother and Father who wait weeks at a time to get the email from their Sailor, Marine, Soldier, Coast Guardsman or Airman saying “ letting you know I am ok! Mama, I am so tired we are not getting much sleep! Gotta go work in few!”

It’s for those deployed and go dark for weeks on end! It’s for showing respect to be part of the Greatest Nation on Earth ! It is not about one person but is about the many. It is about Freedoms and Liberties unlike any where else. It’s about the 100 year old Veteran that dances

In his doorway. It’s about the 20 year old soldier going through physical therapy at Walter Reed because he pushed his squad member out of the way when a Roadside IED detonated ripping his leg(s) from his body! It’s about the Sailor who breaks his back when a crane sways a crate-

of rations into him pinning him against the ship! It’s about the Coast Guardsman who drowns while rescuing the family who’s boat lost power and is sweep to sea! It’s about The Airman who falls off an aircraft while performing maintenance so it can fly relief to hurricane victims

It’s about the Marine who’s life is taken from a terrorist while giving a candy bar to a child. It’s for your military that are risking their lives 24/7 while we sleep on our nice comfy adjustable mattresses with our air conditioning set to 68.

One other GROUP of people this flag is for You, your neighbor, Their neighbor,The farmer, The Home Depot and Lowe’s employees! The poor person, The rich person and those in between, The Asian,White,Black,Indian and anyone else I missed family that is a citizen of this great
