Ready for a rant? I was in line this evening at a local store waiting for my online order when a (white) middle aged man came behind me in line.
A few seconds pass... and I could tell he wanted to say something to me. I didn’t expected him to say that woman at the counters had a great ass and was a nice piece of meat.
Yea that happened. My response? Well it got the entire stores attention.
Me: Excuse me?! We don’t talk like that you *called him some bad words I won’t type here* have some respect. He laughed it off. Then I called him a misogynistic fuck.
It got me thinking. A) is that what he wanted? A reaction from me? B) does he always announce his feelings towards other people’s body out loud in public? C) this is why people hate men. D) Did I over react and make the woman feel uncomfortable? Did she even know?
Anyway. I walked out of the store with what I ordered and never looked back. I wish I had said some other things tbh. What would you have done? It made me so angry.
Just realized I was so rattled by all this I hardly made sense in half this thread. Thanks for coming to not so Ted Talk
