Incredibly disappointed with @DenverChannel. We’re in the midst of a pandemic & their 360 program gave an unquestioned platform to anti vaxxers.

Please recognize who you are giving a platform to. Know who you are legitimizing.

Colorado AV aren’t just “concerned parents”. They’re bullies who shame, attack, & intimidate others. Right after her interview aired, Pam Long body shamed Rep Mullica.

“He looks overweight and lacking vitality. Why would anyone take heath advice from this man?” 2/10

This isn’t the first time CO AV have picked apart other people’s appearances.

Pay close attention to the third screenshot. This woman is running against Rep Mullica on an anti vaccine platform 3/10

These are people who promote fake news and propaganda 4/10

They’re conspiracy theorists who believe that COVID was made in a lab and that Bill Gates wants to control the world through vaccines 5/10

n’t forget that Colorado anti-vaxxers rally with the Proud Boys, a hate group.

I’ll say it again - Colorado Health Choice Alliance worked with a hate group to organize a rally. They share the same values

And you gave them a platform 6/10

Oh, and there’s also the rampant homophobia and transphobia! 7/10

When you presented Long as a “concerned mom”, when you accepted her word, when you validated/amplified CHCA w/out fact checking or even looking at their Facebook page, you don’t share the full story. And you endorsed fake news, conspiracy theory, racism, homophobia, ableism. 8/10

Absolutely cover the anti-vaccine movement. It’s a terrifying & vile movement with roots in racism & white supremacy. Their lies & half truths are dangerous/will hurt people. But know who you’re giving a platform to. And don’t allow them to use you to spread their propaganda 9/10
