US Syria Envoy Ambassador Jeffrey at @AtlanticCouncil event on 30 April says any new Turkish operations would be violation of October US-Turkish ceasefire agreement. "That would be a blatant violation of the agreement and we would respond" (1)

Amb Jeffrey: "Because it would put at risk our forces, put at risk the mission against ISIS, it would put at risk our partners in the population of northeast Syria, it would create a further crisis, it took us six months to dig out of the terrible crisis of October..." (2)

Amb Jeffrey: "We now have Russian, regime, Turkish, Turkish supported opposition, SDF and American forces plus some remnants of ISIS all in a very small area, its very complicated airspace, very complicated ground movements, we don't need more like that." (3)
