According to this same report, Qatada is listed as an al Qaeda affiliate by the United Nations Security Council, and was described in testimony given in February 2001 in a New York court as a member of al Qaeda’s “Fatwa Committee”

1995 - issues fatwa justifying killing apostates, their wives and their children

1999 - delivers a speech advocating killing Jews

2015 - praised by Al-Qaeda leader Zawahiri for having "fondness, and compassion for Jihad"

Despite denouncing #ISIS as 'insincere mujahideen', in 2015 and *prior* to his Iftar appearance he claimed their attacks on Shia Muslims and apostates was "praiseworthy Jihad"

In YouTube videos in 2016, he promoted the #Antisemitic forgery, The Protocols of the Elders of Zion

In one video, Qatada openly mocks Holocaust commemoration in Britain and invokes a checklist of #Antisemitic motifs that the Holocaust is a lie; that Jews consume Passover matzahs baked with Christian blood; that Jews control the world; and that the West sees Jews as bloodsuckers
