My journey of learning how to code.

1/ DAY 1
∙ How the internet works (DNS, ISP, fiber cables underwater)
∙ History of WWW
∙ Playing with terminal. First prompt: “trackroute google . com“
∙ Playing with Chrome’s inspect and editing html and CSS
2/ DAY 1 Cont.

I don’t have two monitors.

If you didn’t know, you can split screens on your Mac!

This is a game changer.

Thankful for @NotionHQ for keeping my notes organized and @zerotomasteryio ( @AndreiNeagoie) for making this course!
3/ DAY 2 of learning how to code
4/ DAY 3 of learning how to code

• Made a HTML form. Was clearly craving cheese
• Anchor tags, input tags, attributes, and elements!
• Moving on to CSS now
5/ DAY 4 of learning how to code

The ashwagandha is starting to hit...💤 I didn't have as much time as I would like to play today. There's lots of CSS' properties and selectors to explore!

I decided I'll just start coding my own site in real time and share the progress here.
6/ DAY 5 of learning code

• Learned about Google Fonts, font elements and the like
• Played this awesome game on CSS selectors ( https://flukeout.github.io/ )
7/ DAY 6 of learning code

Wow! Felt like I learned a lot about CSS capabilities today. I’m not even in JavaScript yet.

∙ Flexbox is cool!
∙ Transitions and :hover is real fun
∙ Bootstrap must save devs a ton of time
