The biggest problem with alot of Twitter Leftists is they want to think pre-capitalist societies weren't inherently worse than capitalist society. Capitalism has horrible problems, but it also drastically improved living standards like no mode of production before it.

The goal of communism is to take the tools that capitalism has helped to produce and use them to their fullest potential to spread what's historically only benefitted the Bourgeoisie to the entirety of humanity.

A communist society shouldn't just be more fair and equal. Far too many Twitter Leftists glorify socialism of scarcity as being noble or whatever nonsense. They also glorify the USSR and other states which suffered horrible shortages.

Communism should outproduce capitalism in ways never before achievable under the capitalist mode of production.
