Scottie Pippen: I wanted to use EDM b/c my kids like it.

Jason Hehir: Rodman agreed to speak on 1 condition: Carmen Electra had to speak too.

Michael Jordan: I didn't want Carmen. She wasn't a Bull. But Phil convinced me.

Phil Jackson: The triangle functioned only because of Carmen.
Writer: Krause said they were making TV, not film.

Michael Jordan: I said "like Twin Peaks: The Return, Last Dance is a film b/c 1 director tells a whole story over ten hours with footage shot years before knowing the episode it'd air in." He replied "that's not a film either."
Jason Hehir: When we finished, I began comparing the doc to other ESPN ones. Michael began comparing it to Soviet Montage films.

Michael Jordan: I respect what Bill Simmons created. What Ezra Edelman achieved with OJ. But I was aiming for my hero: Eisenstein. I surpassed him.
