Do ear holes really close up if you don’t wear earrings a long time or is that just a Puerto Rican mom myth?
Conflicting testimony on this. Will need to do some research.
My theory based on responses below is they close if you had piercings when you were older. But since we (Puerto Ricans) get them pierced as babies, they don’t close up.
I can’t keep up with the responses, but:
1. Of course other cultures have this myth too, but I can and should only speak for mine.
2. There’s anecdotal evidence for this being true AND a myth. Not here for anyone saying their experience is the only correct answer.
While I have your attention, I work in a Broadway theater & our community is struggling. We’re likely to remain unemployed for a long time. It will be devastating for many.
