I have today submitted a court claim against @easyJet for failing to refund four flights cancelled back in March. Am adding 8% statutory interest to the claim. Will let you know how I get on. #RefundPassengers @WhichUK
If they didn't impose a 600% markup on snacks and beer on board, I may not have included the statutory interest. But €6 for a 330ml Heineken? Nah. No sympathy.
Update:
Received an email from EasyJet this morning acknowledging my claim and stating they have now arranged for my bookings to be refunded back to my card.
No mention of paying the court fee or interest so I have replied requesting this in order to discontinue the claim.

CLAIM SETTLED

Had a series of automated emails confirming the card refunds and a further email from esupport@easyjet.com asking for my bank details to pay the court fee & interest.
Job done. In just 5 days.
Goes to show how quick they can act when prompted by court!
