Basically Halsey used to have a tumblr stan account where she would obsess over boybands, she was particularly obsesssed with 1D and had a huge crush on Harry Styles so she was PISSED when Taylor and Harry started dating

Most of the hate she threw at Taylor stemmed from that

She made a whole song about her hatred for Haylor

In it she slut shamed Taylor, saying she "got around" and had an "ex-boy pile"

She also called her manipulative, saying she lured Harry with her "fake smiles," and called her a "control freak" and +

accused her of only dating him so she could write a song about him

after the haylor song blew up and she started getting criticized by swifties she tried to defend it by saying it was just a "representation" of the 1D fandom based in what she saw on her dashboard (sure jan )

but that doesn't explain why she went on to make more nasty posts and tweets about Taylor, including one where she made an insensitive joke about the Columbine tragedy, joking that she felt like sh00ting up a school... over Taylor dating the celebrity she had a crush on...

what kind of 18 year old is still delusional enough to slut shame a woman and hate on her relentlessly over a crush on a male celebrity that doesn't even know you exist... I'm convinced Halsey never matured past the age of 13

the song blew up in the 1D fandom so she used it to promote herself and that eventually ended up kickstarting her career

once she got famous she changed her tone and all of a sudden became a huuuuge swiftie herself

recently she supported Taylor and then immediately after started saying again and again how she would loooove to collaborate with Taylor

I don't buy it, it doesn't seem genuine to me

Taylor is one of the nicest people ever so if she knew it's likely she would forgive her and I'm sure she's happy to have at least some support

but as a swiftie I'm not gonna support someone who said such awful things about Taylor
