I believe there to be a much deeper but simpler dilemma based upon 'division'.

Politically, socially, intellectually, medically, mentally and religiously the world, its cultures, and national identities are split by various ingrained dogmas.

1/
This virus has identified just how divided societies are, and how very important it is to get back to basics.

Technology, in particular the computer and Internet have demonstrated to those that 'have not' what they are missing out on.

2/
Through social media the political power brokers are almost instantly called out. It's shown up the law enforcers and enactors for what they are; incompetent unaccountable bullies, and proven educators to be biassed in the ways of liberal political correctness.

3/
Boris and his merry band are not conservative reformers but simply another form of liberalism.

Right now the world is mired in self pity with each partisan grouping trying hard to belittle or undermine each other.

4/
Their problem being none are stronger than another. At least in the last war we had a common enemy to fight so unity prevailed.

5/
God forbid another war, but unless true leaders, world and national comes forth who knows? Do we remain divided, wandering around in a sea of mash dictated to by the Bransons, Gates, FaceBook and Twittersphere?

6/
Or does someone grasp the tiller and steer us to a fairer, caring life for all?

End of rant!
