I’ve signed up for @Podia’s free 14 day trial.

I’ve designed and delivered workshops live and in-person many times before, but this will be the first time I’m creating an online course.

I’ll be documenting a day-by-day account of how things are progressing and also my thoughts on @podia’s UX as a first timer course creator on this thread.

My thoughts about @Podia’s platform UX so far.

It took me a while to familiarize myself with the creator backend. I’d say a good 2 hours?

The way it’s set up has more of a fill in the blanks vibe which I like.

Tomorrow, I’ll start filling in the blanks.

Let’s do this.

It’s been a busy day. Haven’t had time to work or build anything to my online course on @Podia...yet.

Apparently they have a webinar function built in. I’ll take a look at that feature and how to set it up later.

For now, dinner time.

Yup, webinar features are included.

Now to set it up.

Will share more details about the webinar tomorrow. I aim to deliver it next week.

Note: I’ve done plenty of Zoom meetings and Instagram Lives, and I’ve attended many webinars, but I’ve never hosted my own webinar.

It’s Saturday.

Spent time with the family, caught up with friends, and used whatever time I had left setting up online promotions and handling sales on my ecomm business.

I won’t be getting any online-course building or webinar prep done today.

A catchy title - something that grabs attention, eg. a solution to a problem.
Your backstory - what makes you uniquely qualified to share and impart knowledge.
The call to action - a strong close to seal the deal.

Reflection: Building an online course while WFH with three schooling from home kids is tough.
