Okay let’s do this for every like I’ll give a reason why I like Akechi

1. His dance he does for his All Out Attack

2. Both his Voice actors Robbie Daymond and Soichiro Hoshi do a tremendous job

3. Disney’s Robin Hood was one of my favorite movies as a kid so Robin Hood being his Persona was perfect.

4. He has my favorite character design out of the Phantom Thieves

5. I love his rival dynamic with Joker which is amplified in Royal

6. Akechi was the first time I got emotional over a video game character

7. All of his navigation lines in Royal are perfect

8. Even in P5D the further his dance progresses the more psychotic he becomes

9. How he lives with no regrets for anything he’s done except for not knowing Joker before everything happened

10. The fact that Joker and Akechi’s Showtime is completely improvised but the two work so well together it succeeds

11. Akechi’s downfall during his boss fight helped me realize how lucky I was to have people who cared about me and so he made me want to be a better person

12. How Akechi is so upset that pancakes made him lose he is tired of even hearing the word

13. How Akechi would go as far as turning himself Psychotic just to get an upper edge

14. How instead of giving a speech about how he’ll never give up he tells Joker “I’m a bit occupied, so do your goddamn JOB!”

15. How over the top all his Metaverse outfits are

16. In the 3rd semester several of his lines show how he’s sort of moved on from Shido and will no longer be controlled by anyone

17. How Akechi represents more of the Reversed Justice instead of Upright Justice on the tarot card

18. Loki’s design alone is one my favorites out of all the Personas

19. How each 3rd Awakening happens in their houses but Akechi has his in Leblanc the place he viewed as home

20. He has an A on his briefcase for no reason other than his name is Akechi

21. I love how they gave him new sprites for the 3rd semester that show him being more genuine

22. How Hereward is a combination of Loki and Robin Hood showing that he’s sort of embracing both sides of him

23. How his hobbies are bike riding and bouldering

24. How smug he is towards everyone

25. The character cheers me up

26. His true outfit looks like the Berserker Armor

27. If you fail his dance P5D he loses his mind

28. In the 3rd semester he says he wishes he could ride his bike in Mementos and the idea of him doing that is funny to me

29. I like how much Akechi gets off on fighting

30. He’s left handed which I don’t see much in media

31. He has a unique move (Laevateinn) that only he can learn

32. It’s entertaining to see others thoughts and reactions to him

33. I’ve always liked characters who have an evil laugh

34. He reminds me of Light Yagami from Death Note an anime I really enjoy

35. I like how he always compliments Joker for the smallest of things

36. How he calls his own fans fools for believing in his Detective Prince persona
