It’s almost like people who make a show of their piety as a twitter brand are trying to create pre-emptive cover & support networks for any inevitable scandal which exposes their hypocrisy...

Hm maybe priests are not & have never been as celibate as they present themselves to be— & the Catholic obsession with nude little boys isn’t chaste— & the castrati were not an innocent foible of medieval times, but another instantiation of the warped sexuality of the institution

Maybe the concept of “institutional forgiveness of sin” mediated by this same class is a way of controlling populations & is much like the CIA “investigating its own crimes”— giving carte blanche to skilled liars, sociopaths, & hypocrites.

Maybe the immense pedophilia epidemic in such institutions is not a “flaw”— but an emergent property of the design... I don’t know— I’m a “schizophrenic gnostic shouting on the street”— maybe I should be put to death instead.
